Illustrations and Posters

This collection consists of diverse educational and cultural designs, ranging from historical and literary tributes to practical guides and festive greetings. It features a symbolic montage of Filipino figures framed within a silhouette, a scientific infographic detailing Galileo Galilei's breakthroughs, and a vibrant mind map exploring the concept of "The Social Self." The remaining pieces include a playful Christmas card reading *"Pasko Kumukutikutitap,"* a step-by-step voter's guide for the May 2022 Philippine elections, and a minimalist literary poster centered on William Faulkner's short story *"A Rose for Emily"*.

Challenge

Independent filmmakers and digital artists lacked access to affordable, user-friendly AI tools, forcing them to rely on expensive, complex software or outsource effects work—limiting creative control and scalability.

Objective

The collective goal was to create highly targeted, visually engaging communication pieces. The designs aimed to honor historical identity, make abstract academic concepts accessible, deliver vibrant seasonal greetings, provide clear chronological civic guidance, and evoke the solemn tone of a literary classic.

Results

The final deliverables successfully balanced aesthetics and utility through varied design strategies. They achieved this by using multi-layered silhouette masking for the historical tribute, color-coded mind mapping for the educational graphic, custom typography for the holiday card, clear color-blocking for the voting guide, and minimalist iconography for the literary poster.
